About this job

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work in our popular Primary School. The post offers interesting and rewarding opportunities for a caring, enthusiastic and energetic person who has experience of working with children with learning needs. The role involves supporting children in their learning both individually and as part of a group. Experience and understanding of working with children with Complex Needs, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties or an Autistic Spectrum Disorder would be beneficial but not essential.

You will possess excellent communication skills, at all levels, along with the ability to engage constructively with, and relate to, a wide range of children with different needs. Previous experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous but not absolutely necessary.
