Following the success of the last four bidding rounds, where 57 projects were awarded a community asset grant, round five of the community asset grant scheme had £200,000 available for eligible groups to apply for a grant of up to £25,000 to improve or provide new community infrastructure. Match funding was required to cover 50% of the total costs of the project seeking funding. The grant scheme was open to a range of Central Bedfordshire organisations, including voluntary and community groups, not-for-profit organisations, parish or town councils and social enterprises.
