We wanted to hear from parents and carers about their experiences with education, health and social care support and services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Following the OFSTED and Care Quality Commission (CQC) Joint Area Inspection of SEND provision in November 2019, a SEND Partnership Programme was established to develop and implement the Written Statement of Action. The programme is governed by a SEND Partnership Board, jointly chaired by Sue Harrison (Director of Children’s Services) and Anne Murray (Chief Nurse, Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group). Membership includes senior leadership from us, Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group and the SNAP Parent Carer Forum.
To ensure our improvement journey is developing the right services and support for families, we wanted to hear your thoughts and suggestions.
