Construction on the Grove View Development is now complete

In October 2020, our Development Management Committee approved the plans for the integrated health and care hub and modern apartments for people over 55 in Dunstable who wish to right-size.

Work on Grove View integrated health and care hub and apartments, off Court Drive in Dunstable, started in May 2021 with the hub now open and apartments ready to welcome new residents.

Projected timeline

Spring 2023

Construction on the hub and apartments is now complete.

Topping Out of the Integrated Health and Care Hub.

Name of the hub and apartments announced as Grove View.

Groundworks for the site completed with the steel framework complete.

Construction starts on site.

Detailed planning application submitted.

A Topping Out Ceremony took place in June 2022 to celebrate the completion of the highest point of the build. A yew tree was symbolically planted on the top of the building as a nod to tradition. When the development is complete the tree will be planted on the grounds.

A unique opportunity

This is a council-funded £43 million development underpinned by £3.634m of Homes England grant funding and a £1.6m contribution from the Housing Infrastructure Fund.
