Create an appropriate crossing on Potton Road, Biggleswade along the stretch after the bridge and near the shops to enable safe crossing, particularly for school children.
Currently, motorists regularly approach this part of Potton Road, Biggleswade from the bridge much faster than is safe. Cars also park outside both of the shops for convenience which prevents safe crossing due to the need to step out towards oncoming traffic to see the road and potential gap in traffic. This combination makes the possibility for children to cross safely and reliably an impossible task without adult intervention.
